Weekly Roundup: Prompts
FSN
Shirou wakes up late for school (That's all).
Kirei Kotomine is having a good and nice afternoon.
smut, claudia pegging kotomine, older (f/sn) version
FHA
kotomine and caren are finally in chaldea together, and they manage to bond as parent and child over their shared enjoyment of watching people suffer
FATE/APOCRYPHA
Hello! For the Anon who asked for queer requests: I've always liked to consider Achilles more genderfluid than he lets on, since his culture would have shamed him a lot for it but he seemed fairly relaxed about hiding out as a woman on Skyros. If this strikes a fancy in anyone, by all means!
FGO
unsanitary, Castoria piss kink. She needs to mark her territory on anyone she fucks, that includes biting, scratching... and peeing on them. Preferably I'd like some level of "oh fuck why tf am I wanting this" but feel free to just go wild with the og prompt. I'm ok with artfills too btw if you guys want to give me a blushing stuttering Castoria struggling to articulate "hey not to be weird for a sec but can I pee on you" that's fine by me too!
(Fanservant prompt) Alter Ego Zhao Sisters with the nine-headed pheasant and the jade pipa as their third ascensions. Basically the Zhao Sisters from Han Dynasty are mixed with Daji's "younger sisters" from Fengshen Yanyi: Hu Ximei, the nine-headed pheasant (Jiutou Zhiji Jing) is mixed with Zhao Feiyan, the older Zhao Sister while Wang Guiren, the jade pipa (Pipa Jing) is mixed with Zhao Hede, the younger Zhao Sister.
Shiki Tohno(from Archers timeline) gets summoned to Chaldea and on the same day he meets with his Gf(Archetype Earth 1st and 2nd ascension) and his friend(EMIYA) but for some reason on his first day he was walking funny and on his second he was walking funny again and didn’t want to sit on chairs
For the anon that submitted a request for queer headcanons, I headcanon Oryou as transfem non-binary, though she doesn't use the labels or even understands what those labels are. She is just Oryou, after all. However, she bristles when people refer to her old identity/dead name (hinted slightly in GG6, but unconfirmed, to be Hiruko, the abandoned son of Izanagi and Izanami from Japanese mythology). For a scenario, perhaps someone from the Japanese pantheon is summoned to Chaldea (if there is not someone already there) and recognizes Oryou as Hiruko.
Prompt (I can't believe I send this): A Naked and Afraid parody where Saitou Hajime and Nagakura Shinpachi (the younger one aja his 2nd and 3rd ascension) found themselves naked and stuck on an island with no clothes and weapons because they can't remember anything on last night until they found a letter say: "Two survivalists who meet for the first time naked and are given the task of surviving a stay in the wilderness for 21 days. Each survivalist is allowed to bring one helpful item, such as a machete or a fire starter. After they meet in the assigned location, the partners must build a shelter and find water and food." Can they survived on this island in 21 days? (A very juicy Saitou Hajime x Nagakura Shinpachi prompt).
Mash has an insane amount of rizz and accidentally makes her own harem
I just want some gudacas man
CROSSOVER
That "Rin Tohsaka summoned the literally devil himself" fanfic/prompt give me this idea: Rin Tohsaka summoned Adam (This Adam who is basically the one who still lived in the Garden of Eden before the whole Forbidden Fruit happened) from Hazbin Hotel
ANY
Your servants wake up one day as the opposite gender.
I'd love aromantic master representation, or perhaps a servant realizing that they're aromantic after being summoned to Chaldea. (Does not have to just be Ritsuka btw!)

He is quite playful and likes to tease his partner from time to time to see how cute s/o can get angry

This guy likes to do anything to make them blush
Izanagi often invites them to watch the starry sky or a beautiful sunrise/sunset together
He likes it when s/o are genuinely happy
Izanagi knows what romance is, but he's not into it. Ancient God may do it for s/o
He likes to touch their hair as they sit together
Izanagi will repeatedly think about what a wonderful family they could be, but won't say it out loud until a certain point in time

You're not my dad, bro
I think Nanako is maybe everyone's dad though, lmao. "Are you causing trouble under my roof, father? Are you starting shit? 'Cause I'll end it."
Thanks for the assist, Nanako. She is singlehandedly going to keep this investigation going just by providing cover for me and my dipshit crew who bring fucking full sized katana to the food court.
uh.
holy shit
It is after dark. I just went up to my room to sleep. and my homeroom teacher is calling me and asking me to meet him at a gas station.
right sure okay i'll just go do that, that seems normal and not likely to end in a third fucking murder, yep sure, just gimme a sec to run up to my room and jot down my final will and testament, i'm sure nanako knows where the nearest notary public is in inaba and is willing to get it signed for me, mmhm
BRUH WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME AFTER DARK AND MAKING ME COME OUT TO GIVE ME THIS, IT IS A SUNDAY NIGHT, SCHOOL IS TOMORROW, YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN ME
breathe
its fine. okay.
anyway. after that brush with death, yosuke and chie talk about their shadow selves and note that Reverie didn't have one before attaining his Persona. Now, Yosuke thinks Reverie got his persona outside the TV!Saki Liquorstore, but we know from being the player that Reverie had Izanagi in a dream the first night after arriving in Inaba.
Which. Yep. Pretty weird. Metatextually, we could be Shadow Reverie, but that doesn't seem MegaTen's style. I hasn't known one to tap on the fourth wall in that specific way yet.
Whatever, I'm not going to guess this from the start. As long as it's not Ryoji again, I'm fine with it. We can literally only go up from Ryoji.
Chie's the Chariot. That tracks. Forward momentum at all costs. The Chariot is meant to learn to wield the reins, unifying conscious and subconscious to gain more control. I'm cool with this.
Velvet Room. The spoiler-free walkthru I'm using (I heard a suggestion to use it for the first month just to learn about various mechanics bc P4G has a LOT) had me leave and re-enter, and Marie seems just thrilled to bits to see me. At this point, I am becoming inured to the fact that literally no one is nice ever in this town. SIGH.
Marie is... not of man. Okay. /blinks
What is the Velvet Room... Margaret says everything that occurs in here is tied to our destiny and specifically the contract we have to fulfill. In P3P, no one but FeMC could see the Velvet Room, and in P4G, same case.
Nngh this is the kind of thing I wanna crack like an egg but the answer genuinely might be "this place is a vehicle of the story (pun intended) and exists to facilitate it."
So the Velvet Room is Atlus. There, I solved it. Quod erat demonstratum.
Because Marie is "not of man" (a term Margaret pointedly refuses to elaborate on) I should take her out to explore the world outside, apparently. Like my dates with Elizabeth in P3P.
Please don't blush, you're a bit too tsuntsun for me right now.
Margaret also calls me the next morning to talk about quenching my heart's yearnings, so I think she wants me to go find Akihiko and cry into his ample pecs until he hugs me because I am SO ALONE in this town.
But first I have to join a sports club. And culture club? I have zero recollection of these. I think I may have even skipped a sports club in my initial PS2 playthru bc I'm petulant and hate sports. Buuuut I need S-Links.
So:
do you know akihiko gives good hugs? i mean that's why he spent three years in boxing club, right? to give better hugs?
you know who i know gives good hugs? Mitsuru. she'd pull a whole jennifer lopez "come into my coat" thing, i bet you

P4G: Mirror Mirror (A FeMC Story/P4G Rework) Chapter 3: Welcome to Inaba
Yua spent the next few days packing up and getting ready to move to Inaba. Between packing and going back and forth with Izanagi, her days were full of anticipation, both to figure out what was going on, and to just get out of the city she was living in. Still, she did make a point to eat dinner with Miss Fujioka every night until she left as a thank you.
The day before leaving, she arrived at her school one last time to explain what was going on. She didn’t mention the suicide attempt, but she was almost certain that the reaction would have been the same. There were numerous murmurs about what was happening, all of which had the same energy of confusion and fear amongst them. Yua pouted, but dealt with it, as she was going to leave the next day anyway.
She told herself something similar the day she decided to jump, but this time it was different. Partially because it wasn’t as extreme a reaction on her part, and partially because she was assisting the ghost talking to her instead of going against him. Obviously, she didn’t mention Izanagi either, but again felt like if she had most of the kids her age would brush it off in a way that felt insulting.
That evening, she was all set to leave. She probably could have taken the late night train to Inaba, but she wanted to have dinner with Miss Fujioka one last time. She knocked on the door. Miss Fujioka opened it. “Come in!” she said.
They were soon eating. “This is delicious,” Yua remarked.
“You think so?” Aimi said. Yua nodded. “Why thank you. I don’t get a chance to cook for others often, so it’s nice to hear.” They continued eating. “You know…I was kind of looking forward to getting to know you a little more.” Yua paused her eating. Aimi smiled. “But it’s for the best. I mean, I don’t want to keep you here just to fulfill my selfish needs. Especially if it would have led to…”
Yua swallowed her food. She stood up, and gave Aimi a hug. “I…didn’t mean to worry you like that…”
Aimi was touched. She smiled, and hugged back. “It’s alright. I’m just glad you’re still here.” After a minute, they stopped hugging and went back to eating.
Once they were finished, Yua asked “Umm, iis it possible for me to sleep here again? I mean, most of my things have already been sent out, and I have everything I’m traveling with in the bag by the door. Soooooo…”
Aimi smiled. “Of course. I don’t mind.”
Yua smiled, embarrassed. “Thanks…” She nodded, and then headed back over to the couch to sleep for the night. Before she could, Izanagi appeared to her. “What?”
“You seem to have taken a liking to Miss Fujioka,” Izanagi noted.
Yua got embarrassed. “Well, she’s been very helpful. I just wanted to return the favor.”
“Well, I think it’s endearing,” Izanagi remarked.
“Whatever,” Yua said. She turned her head, and drifted off into sleep.
The next morning, Yua changed into her new school uniform to see how it’d look. A black jacket and black skirt paired with a yellow ribbon. It contrasted with the long white socks she usually wears, but she liked the contrast. She walked out of the bathroom, and Aimi noticed her. She noticed Aimi noticing, and blushed. Aimi chuckled. “You look adorable.”
Yua got more embarrassed. “Th…thanks…”
Aimi smiled. She came over and gave Yua a hug. “I hope you have a wonderful time out in Inaba.”
Yua was stunned. She hugged back and said “Thanks…” once more.
Aimi let go. “Well, you better get going. You don’t want to miss the train.”
“Right,” Yua said. “Thanks…again…” Yua said, flustered.
“Of course,” Aimi said. “And don’t forget, I’m just a phone call away.”
Yua nodded. “Of course. Well goodbye!”
“Goodbye!” Aimi said. Yua smiled, and then left. As much as she appreciated leaving, leaving behind Aimi was a little bittersweet.
The train ride there was long, but fairly uneventful. It was a nice respite from everything that was happening, and if Izanagi and Igor were to be believed, a respite from what was going to happen. Yua still wasn't fully convinced of all of that, but she was weary of it.
She arrived at the station leading to Inaba at about 4. She had gotten a message from her uncle that that was about the time he was coming to pick her up. She headed outside the station to see her uncle, alongside a young girl whom she recognized as Nanako. “Ah, you made it,” Ryotaro said. He turned to his daughter. “Why don’t you say ‘hi’ Nanako?”
Nanako looked at Yua sheepishly. “Um, hello…”
Ryotaro gave her a half side-hug. “That’a girl.” He looked up at Yua. “She’s kind of shy. I’m sure if you’ll spend more time together I’m sure she’ll get used to you.”
“Daaaad,” Nanako said, pounding his leg with her fist, embarrassed.
“Ope. Eh heh, sorry,” Ryotaro said.
Yua walked over and crouched down to meet Nanako face to face. “I, uh, know we haven’t been close before, but I want to change that. Is that alright?”
Nanako was stunned. She smiled and nodded. “Yeah.” Yua smiled back.
Ryotaro smiled as well. “Ahem,” he said. Yua stood back up. “We got your stuff packed up at the house. Let’s head on over and get you situated, alright?”
Yua nodded. “Right.”
“I got the car right here,” Ryotaro gestured. The three of them started to head over.
As she was leaving, something fell out from one of the pockets on the bag she was carrying. Luckily, a girl around her age just happened to be passing by. She picked up and called out “Hey!” Yua turned around to see the girl. She had shorter black hair, was wearing a white sleeveless shirt, with red and black plaid sleeves as an accessory, black tie, red choker, a red and black plaid skirt, black and white striped socks, and long black boots. “You dropped this.”
Yua took it back. She looked at it. It was a note she made about the Dojima’s address. “Thanks.”
“Whatever,” the other girl said. “All I did was pick it up.”
“Still…” Yua said. “That was nice.”
The other girl got flustered. “Yeah, well, whatever.”
“Cmon!” Ryotaro shouted. “What’s the hold up?!”
“Coming!” Yua shot back. She turned back to this other girl. “I gotta go. But maybe I’ll see you around sometime? Give you a proper introduction?”
“Psh. Maybe,” the other girl said.
Yua smirked. “Good enough for me.”
“Hmph,” the other girl huffed. She started walking away. As she did, a vision appeared in Yua’s head. It was the silhouette of the girl she had seen before on the TV screen when it went weird. She shook her head, unsure of what that meant before heading to the car.
They drove into the town, with Ryotaro stopping off at a gas station. “Can you get to the bathroom yourself Nanako?” he asked as everyone was getting out.
“Yeah,” Nanako replied. She started heading inside.
The attendant walked up. “Welcome to Moel!” she said. She noticed Nanako heading inside. “The bathroom’s around the corner on the left. You know what left is, right? That’s the side you don’t hold your chopsticks on.”
“Yeah. I know,” Nanako said, not liking getting condescended to. She headed inside.
The attendant turned back to Ryotaro. “You taking a trip?”
“Nah,” he replied. “I just picked up my niece. She’s coming from out in the city. She’ll be living with me for the foreseeable future.”
The attendant looked over to Yua. “I see.”
“Anyway,” Ryotaro said. “Just fill ‘er up. Regular’s fine.”
“Right away!” the attendant said.
Ryotaro sighed. “I’m gonna go out for a smoke.” He walked off, leaving the attendant alone with Yua.
The attendant smirked. “So, you’re from the city?”
“Uh, yah,” Yua answered.
“Hm,” the attendant. “Well, I hate to disappoint, but there’s not a lot to do here. You'll probably just end up hanging out with friends, or doing part-time jobs.”
“Hm. Somehow, I think I’ll live,” Yua said.
“I’m not saying it’s a bad thing,” the attendant rebutted. “Heck, we need help here at the station. It doesn’t matter if you’re a student. We can have you on part-time.” She reached out her hand. “What do you say?”
Yua was hesitant, but felt like she wanted to make a good first impression. She reciprocated the handshake and said. “I’ll think about it.”
The attendant smiled at her. “Thanks.” They let go.
Suddenly, Yua’s head felt a surge of pain. Every few seconds, she saw this vision of piercing eyes staring at her. They felt inviting, but also dangerous. Yua was swaying back and forth over the shock of it all.
“Are you OK?” Nanako asked, having come back from using the bathroom.
Yua looked around. “Yeah…I think everything’s just hitting me all at once.”
Ryotaro came back from his smoke break, and took note of Yua. “Geez. You look a little pale. Why don’t you take a walk around to get some fresh air while I take care of things here.”
Yua let out a sigh. “Thanks.” She started walking off. She looked around the area, and took note of how quaint everything was. And yet, it radiated its own charm. She smiled.
“How are you feeling?” Izanagi said.
“Gah!” Yua replied. She sighed. “I should have known it was a matter of time before you popped up. So tell me, did you see any of what I saw?”
“I did,” Izanagi said.
“And?” Yua replied. “Did that jog your memory?”
“Did it jog yours?” Izanagi retorted.
“I asked you first,” Yua said.
“Hm,” Izanagi grunted. “It feels like I know more, but it’s not even enough to scratch the surface.”
Yua sighed. “As much as I hate to admit it, I kind of feel the same. It feels like whatever answer we’re looking for could be anywhere, and yet it’s nowhere right now.”
“Precisely,” Izanagi agreed. “Still, we’re here, and that’s a good first step.”
“I guess,” Yua said. “Still, what was that about?”
“I’m sure the answer will come in time,” Izanag said. For now, it’s best to take stock of your surroundings.”
Yua looked around some more. She started overhearing a conversation nearby. “Hey sis, do you know what happened to the dessert I was saving in the fridge?” Yua looked over to see a boy and a girl talking to each other.
“Oh,” the girl said. “I thought it was leftovers. I ate it.”
“What?!” the boy shrieked. “I was saving that!”
The girl sighed. “Sorry. Look, I gotta get to work. I’ll pick up something afterwards to make up for it, OK?”
“Fine…” the boy said. He sighed. “I was looking forward to it.”
“Hmmm,” Yua said. It seemed like a sibling debate. Not that she’d know what that’s like. But maybe she will with Nanako. In a sense.
“Well, it’s a start,” Izanagi said.
“I guess,” Yua said. “Like you said, we’re probably not going to unravel it on day one.” She breathed out. “I should probably head back. He’s probably finished taking care of things.”
“Agreed,” Izanagi said. “You seem exhausted as is. No need to further exacerbate it.”
Yua nodded, and started heading back. On her way, she glanced at a restaurant. The Marukyu Tofu Shop. “Hmmmmm.” Something about it seemed familiar to her, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. She shrugged. Probably from when I was here last. She made her way back to the car.
Ryotaro spotted her. “Feeling better?”
Yua sighed. “I think so. But I kind of want to take it easy.”
“Understandable,” Ryotaro said. “Well then, let’s head home.” Yua nodded, and she, Ryotaro, and Nanako got in the car.
Once they arrived, Yua took a look at it. It hadn’t changed all too much since she was last here. Yet, she could definitely feel the missing presence of her aunt. Still, there was nothing she could do about that. She just had to move forward, and hope that maybe things might get better. The three of them entered.
Once Yua got a little situated, she joined the Dojimas around a small table with some sushi. She knelt down on the pillow. “Alright!” Ryotaro said. “Starting today, you’re officially one of us! Let’s celebrate!” He opened his drink.
The three of them raised their drinks up. “Cheers!”
Ryotaro took a big gulp of his drink. “Ah!” He looked over at Yua. “I know it’s not a lot, but please make yourself at home. I…know that what you’re going through can't be easy, and um it’s not like we’re that close, but I want you to know that we'll be there for you.”
Yua smiled and nodded. “Thanks.”
Ryotaro smiled back. He turned to his daughter. “Do you have anything you want to say?”
“Ummm…” Nanako pondered, not expecting to be put on the spot. “Welcome!”
Ryotaro smiled. “Well then, let’s eat!” They started to dig in, but Ryotaro’s phone went off. “Who’s calling at this hour?” He picked up. “Dojima speaking. … What? …Where is it? …” He sighed. “Alright. I’m on my way.” He hung up and sighed again. “I’ve gotta go. You can go on without me.” Nanako pouted. He started heading out. “Hey Nanako! It’s raining. What did you do with the laundry?!”
“I already brought it in!” Nanako called back.
“Great!” Ryotaro said. “Thanks. I’ll be back as soon as I can, but don’t wait up for me! You both have school in the morning!”
“OK!” Nanako said. Ryotaro left the house. Nanko then turned on the TV. Currently, it was reporting on the weather. Nanako sighed.
Yua wanted to try and make a connection. “Are you OK?”
“Yeah,” Nanako replied. “This happens all the time. My dad’s a detective, so work calls him whenever.”
“I see,” Yua said. There was an awkward silence. “I’m…sorry I made him leave…when he came to see me about…coming here…”
“It’s OK,” Nanako said. “My daddy helps people, and you needed help.”
Yua smiled at Nanako’s rationale. “Well, I’ll be sure to return the favor, OK?” Nanako smiled.
The TV went back to covering the news. “An update on today’s top story: City council secretary Taro Namatame has officially resigned from his position after a scandal involving his affair with TV reporter Mayumi Yamano. He is expected to settle things with his wife, enka singer Mizuru Hiiragi, after they filed for divorce. Meanwhile, Miss Yamano hasn’t been seen in the public eye since the incident went public.”
“This is boring,” Nanako remarked. She changed the channel. On the TV now was a commercial. “At Junes, every day is customer appreciation day! Come see for yourself with our low, low prices. Every day’s great at your Junes!”
Nanako repeated the jingle. “Every day’s great at your Junes!” Once the commercial ended, a quiz show came on. Nanako started eating and playing along. Yua decided to do the same.
Once the two of them finished eating, they decided to head to bed, leaving Ryotaro’s food out for him. Yua made her way to her room. It was filled with boxes still unopened, and had a few things, like a desk, a shelf, and a TV. She appreciated it. However, she was still way too tired to do anything right now. She made her way to her bed, changed into some pajamas, got under the covers, and fell asleep instantly.
She awoke in a mysterious, foggy void, wearing her uniform. She looked around. “This is unusual. Like, even given everything else.” She looked around and sighed. “I guess I got no choice but to go forward.” She started walking. “I hate to admit it, but I would prefer it if Izanagi was here with me now.”
“You rang?” Izanagi said.
Yua sighed. “Of course. But do you know what this is?”
“This place seems familiar,” Izanagi replied. “But it’s hard for me to nail down why.”
“Hmmm,” Yua couldn’t talk. She felt the same about that tofu place she saw earlier. “I guess we just have to keep going.”
“That seems like all we can do,” Izanagi said. Yua nodded. The two pressed on.
Suddenly, they heard a strange voice. “So, you seek the truth, huh?!”
“Um, what was that?” Yua remarked.
“Whoever it is, I don’t trust it,” Izanagi replied.
“Who are you?!” Yua shouted.
“I don’t think that was a good idea,” Izanagi noted.
“If you want me, come and find me!” the voice yelled.
“You were saying?” Yua snarked. She continued on, while Izanagi followed. They came upon a door. “I think the source is beyond here.”
“And we’re just going to chase the mysterious antagonistic voice?” Izanagi replied
“Antagonistic or not, we have to try whatever,” Yua replied. “Maybe they have the key to solving our issues.”
“I suppose you’re right,” Ianagi relented. They continued on.
They were still in an area covered by fog. “Well well well,” the voice said. They turned to see a figure obscured by the fog. “So, you’re here to stop me?”
“Stop you from what?” Yua asked.
“Enjoying myself,” the figure answered.
“Pray tell, how do you enjoy yourself?” Izanagi wondered.
“Different people like different things,” the figure said. “That’s a fundamental truth of this world.”
“You didn’t answer the question,” Yua noted.
The figure chuckled. “You claim that you want the truth. And yet you can’t see what’s in front of you.”
“What do you mean?” Yua asked.
“The truth is,” the shadow said, “everyone sees the world differently. The truth is there is no truth. You can’t see me because you can’t see that.”
Yua grew angry. A sword materialized in her hands, as she rushed the figure. “YAAAAAAAHHHHHH!” Remarkably, she hit him.
The figure was clearly surprising. “Well well well. It seems like you can see me somewhat. But it’s not enough.”
“ZIO!” Izanagi called out, and hit the figure with a lightning strike.
The figure was really surprised. “Heh. That really stung. But still, you’re no match for me.”
“Shut up!” Yua said, swinging her blade once more.
“Bewildering fog!” the figure called out. More fog emerged, causing Yua to miss. The figure disappeared. Their voice echoed. “Perhaps we’ll meet again. Perhaps you’ll see the world for what it really is. Perhaps you can fight me better. Honestly, I can’t wait. I’m going to enjoy this little game of ours.”
Yua was getting angry. “Are you OK?” Izanagi asked.
“GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” Yua screamed.
She woke herself up. She was breaking heavily. She looked around, finding herself back in her room in her uncle’s house. She laid back down. “Game on, you bastard!” she muttered. It took her a few minutes, but she fell back asleep.

King Bloodfly
Part 1
Part 2
A lone figure starred up into the day sky. Izanagi II, Amaterasu as the locals call it, blocked out the sun for the small moon he stood on. The perpetual night was instead lit by the greenish-blue seas of the gas giant, highlighted by the glowing sun behind it.
A lone shadow cut across Amaterasu. A familiar ship landed a short distance away from where he stood. He stayed where he stood, lacking the bravery to speak with the one he lost so many years ago.
A group of men and women moved mechanical parts from the ship to the ruined castle, overlooked by an eight foot tall armored figure with metal tendrils lining his back. From the group, a horned creature left and slowly approached the lone man. Her hooves slowly shuffled in the dirt as a pair of wings hung from her back.
“Vera.” The man softly said, his sights still on the gas giant.
“Father.” She sighed, turning to look up at the planet.
The two stood side-by-side in silence, Vera not wishing to disappoint her father and he not sure how to address his daughter. The movement of parts from ship to castle was the only noise that echoed across the dark, feral moon.
“Lord Lupus.” A lone voice broke the silence. “The Hydra wishes to speak with you.”
Vera turned around to the familiar voice. Faintly lit by the turquoise light of Amaterasu was a woman. She wore an old maid uniform, her sleeves ripped off and a slight tear in her dress revealing her hooved leg. Black fur lined her body, with a pair of curved horns emerging from her brow. Her eyes glowed red in the dark night. “Zyn?”
“Lady Vera.” The maid blushed. “It’s been a while.”
“I’m going to speak with the old tech marine and his rust covered kin.” Lupus Hellebor interrupted. “I’ll give you two beasts some time to do… whatever you wish.”
The two mutants remained silent long after he left. Vera just sat next to Zyn, trying her best not to make eye contact. She hasn’t seen her since the day she was taken in by her Lord, but it was clear that they still cared for each other. They were a shared secret after all.
“So…” Vera awkwardly broke the silence. “How’s your mother?”
“She, uh, died six years ago.”
“I’m so sorry!”
“Don’t be.” Zyn strained a smile. “You had no idea.”
“If I knew, I would have come sooner.”
“Don’t fret yourself.” Zyn sighed. “Your old nanny isn’t something that should distract you from your important work.”
“Just because she’s a servant doesn’t mean I shouldn’t care.” Vera said, her eyes locking with Zyn’s. She quickly broke eye contact. She would be blushing if she physically could.
Zyn softly giggled. “Two mutants, born to human mothers, and kept alive solely because of a promise. And now, here we are. Two enemies of the Imperium, hiding in some forgotten corner of the galaxy.
“We don’t deserve hiding for the rest of our lives.” Vera growled. “I promised you that-”
“We’ll forge a kingdom for our kind. How’s that going?”
Vera sighed. “We got some gors to join the Rust Hydras.”
“I’m surprised you got a space marine willing to help you out.”
“Lord Narvik is supportive, but he’s told me that I need something to either destroy or convince people to leave larger warbands before I could build a kingdom of my own.”
“So… Your experiment is this key to power?”
“Hopefully.” Vera was quiet.
The two gors stare off towards the glowing gas giant. Amaterasu.
“Why Amaterasu?” Vera asked.
Zyn turned to her friend, her hand slowly inching towards Vera’s. “It was your mother’s decision.”
In the old castle, five astartes in rust colored armor lead the small army of mortal workers as they set up the experiment. A throne was gently placed in the center of the room, wires connecting it to three knight war dogs, a blue and gold brigand, red and black karnivore, and a green and silver stalker. Hanging over the throne was the damaged torso of a teal and silver knight desecrator. A knight known as Unrepentant Misery, and its Throne Mechanicum lied having been removed and sitting right below it.
“Your daughter is a perfect subject for this experiment, Lord Hellebor.” Narvik the warpsmith explained, he and Lupus watching over the set up from an overlooking catwalk. “Her psychic abilities and her unique bond with Misery’s machine spirit is a combination hard to come by.”
“Yes, yes, but are her mutations necessary?” Lupus asked.
“I know you’re upset about having a beastman for a child, but the manipulations were only designed to increase the chance of Vera being born with psychic powers.” Narvik answered.
“That doesn’t answer the question.”
“It is likely that Vera would have been mutated at birth regardless if Astrid agreed to the experiment or not. Whether the experiment caused Vera’s specific mutations or if she was always destined to become the Bloodfly is unknown.”
Lupus sighed. “Was I the only one in my family that wasn’t being puppet by your tendrils?”
“Lady Marianne wasn’t.”
“Asshole.” Lupus muttered under his breath.
“None of your family were agents prior to the initial experiment, and only Sari and Sven willingly joined.” Narvik explained further. “Your wife and step-son were members of House Khymere prior to your political marriage, and both held loyalty to their Household. They would naturally hold animosity towards the Imperium for suddenly and seemingly randomly declaring Khymere questor traitoris.”
“So you're saying that my wife and son willing sold House Hellebor to the Ruinous Powers?”
“The Rust Hydras and the Alpha Legion as a whole don’t serve Chaos directly.”
“You know what I mean!” He grumbled as he walked off.
“How is Bloodfly the normal one in her family?”
Back outside, Zyn held Vera’s claws in hers. “The locals tell of a warrior known as the Huntress. She was a hero who protected these feral worlds from the metal dragons. Your mother learned that these dragons were an exploration fleet from the Imperium, and this Huntress managed to keep the Imperium from discovering the existence of this system.”
“A great hiding place” Vera softly said. “A perfect spot to start building my kingdom.”
“It is, but that’s not the reason why your mother chose this system.” Zyn smiled as she stood up, pulling Vera up as well.
The two took a short walk, stopping at the top of a small hill. The hill looked over a small village of humans and beastmen. The village was built around a large, statue-like structure. What the statue was hidden by the darkness, the village sitting in the shadow of the hill.
“What a minute.” Zyn whispered.
Vera silently watched as the teal glow slowly raised on the statue, her eyes widening as the form revealed itself to her. Standing guard over the village was a woman with a tail, hooves, horns, and a pair of insect wings.
Villagers looked up towards the little bit of sunlight they get a year. They paused, the shadow of their guardian deity glowing in the light of Amaterasu.
“W-what?” Vera stuttered.
“It surprised me when I first saw it too.” Zyn smiled as she saw some of the villagers bow to her friend. “But I think your mother picked an appropriate place to build your kingdom.”
“I-I don't know what to say.”
“You don’t need to say anything, my king.” Zyn took Vera’s hands, staring deeply into her cybernetic enhanced red eyes as the sunlight faded back behind the gas giant.
Vera stared back into Zyn’s green eyes. “If I’m king now, then I need a queen.”
“I accept this royal duty.”
The two mutants embraced, their eyes closing as their lips locked in a deep kiss.
“House Hellebor does not let betrayal go unanswered.”
Vera and Zyn broke the embrace, glancing towards Lupus. He stood a mere meter away, his laspistol pointed at his daughter.
“Father?”
“Don’t father me you beast!” He spat. “I know the truth, the Imperium didn’t randomly decide to destroy Hellebor. Everyone is a traitor but me! But if I give the Inquisition your head, I can rebuild my family and House’s glory!”
“Bloodfly, would you like me to kill the traitor?”
Lupus froze as he felt a giant metal hand rest on his shoulder.
“Not yet Iska.” Vera gestured to the space marine to take his hand off Lupus.
Lupus shuddered as the astarte havoc raised his hand off of his shoulder.
“Didn’t think this through, did ya father?”
“I wasn’t being followed.”
Vera glanced past her father, up towards the eight foot tall suit of rust colored armor behind him. “You’re arrogant enough to think throwing my head at an Inquisitor would redeem you of your crimes, of course you’d think that.” She sighed. “Queen Zyn, what do you think I should do?”
The Queen leaned forward and whispered into her partner’s ear, “House Hellebor does not let betrayal go unanswered.”
“I’m not a traitor!” Lupus roared. “I’m the only one loyal to the Emperor.” He raised his pistol, only to have his arm broken almost instantly by Iska.
“You’re only loyal to yourself!” Vera roared back, her claws grabbing his face, her nails digging into his flesh. “If you cared for your so-called God-Emperor, you would have thrown me to his hounds the day I was born. If you cared for your family, this would not be happening!” Her eyes glowed with psychic energy.
“My b-beautiful daughter… please don’t do this…” Lupus beg.
“We’re past begging. You tried to kill King Bloodfly. And the punishment for attempted regicide is death.”
Psychic energy was channeled through her claws into her father’s skull. In mere seconds of agony, Lupus’s head exploded in a shower of blood, bone, and psychic electricity.
Narvik was finishing up the throne when Vera marched into the room, Zyn and Iska in tow. “Are you ready, King Bloodfly?”
“Didn’t know Iska had his vox on.” Vera sighed. “Let’s get this over with.”
She took a seat in the Throne and let Narvik connect her mind and body to the machine.
Almost immediately, she was swarmed with curses and insults.
“Bloody beast!”
“Heretic!”
“How dare you desecrate this holy machine!”
Zyn watched in horror as Vera’s mood immediately dropped, all pride she held instantly vanishing under the endless tide of hatred.
“Vera,” Narvik’s voice broke through, “channel your powers into the Throne Mechanicum.”
“DON’T!”
“YOU’LL RUIN US!”
“Do it, little sis. No one can stop the King.”
Vera took a deep breath and closed her eyes. The voices slowly faded away. When she opened her eyes, she was in a dark room. Hundreds of eyes were watching her from the darkness, and she felt something standing in front of her.
“Well, my King.” The voice said. “Are you ready?”
“Ready for what?”
“To prove yourself to the galaxy. To the people you care about, your ancestors, yourself.”
“I am.”
“Then channel your energy through me.”
Narvik held Zyn back from Vera. The King was stunned silent as electricity coursed from her body into the Throne Mechanicum. The electricity traveled from the Throne, through the wires, and into the knights connected. The eyes of each knight lit up with turquoise energy. The war dog brigand to her left began to move, its chain cannon spinning up. The karnivore ripped from its wiring, sparks pouring like blood from a wound. The stalker took a step forward, lowering its head down to its pilot.
Hanging above the scene, the damaged shell of Unrepentant Misery shaking the chains holding it to the ceiling. “It feels so good to have a body again.” It sang.
“I-It worked.” Narvik mumbled, his normally stoic nature vanishing. “It worked!”
“What’s happening?” Zyn asked.
“Vera’s mind is now psychically linked to her Throne Mechanicum.” Vera answered, the voice that emitted from Misery now escaping from her mouth. The head of war dog stalker leaned over her shoulder, which she petted.
“Everything this Throne is linked to, knights, computers, machine spirits, all now psychically linked to the King.”
“Thank you for saving my sister, Lord Narvik.” Vera said, her voice shifting to a more masculine tone.
“I am so proud of you,” her voice changed again, to an older sounding, feminine voice, “my beautiful daughter.”
The psychic energy stopped, and Vera slumped into her Throne. The knights froze as well.
Narvik finally allowed Zyn to run to Vera. “Are you ok?” She cried as she fell to her knees.
Vera weakly raised her claw, placing it on Zyn’s soft cheek. “I-I’m fine.” She whispered. “It’s just going to take some time to get used to this.”
Narvik looked up, towards the hanging knight. “Well Cyla. You held up your end of the bargain, it’s time we do our part.”

Chapter 2 : Fun Times Are Over | Series Masterlist
Inhaling sharply, I stared back at the monster in front of me. Tears welling up quickly in my eyes, upon looking at him.
“Dad!” I cried out, lunging my body at him
BANG!
.
.
.
The collar of my dress was quickly pulled back and the air was knocked out of my chest as I landed face front to a woman’s body. Another gunshot rang through the hallways of the laboratory we were staying at. The screams and groans from the monster, used to be known as my father, had ceased. Tears were already streaming down my face and I started screaming at her for shooting him.
“N-No! Why’d you kill him! We could have-ve saved h-him! Get away!” I tried pushing her back but to no avail, she was just too strong for me.
“Shh… Hey kid, I need you to be quiet, those monsters are still out there…” She wrapped her arm around me, whispering sweet nothings into my ear, desperately trying to stop my wailing.
It took me a good few minutes before I stopped crying, too overwhelmed and tired for my mind to process anything else, “Hey, you’re daughter of (L/n) Izanagi, right?” She questioned with a sympathetic look
Though my voice was hoarse and my throat hurt, “Y-Yes…” I answered quietly
“I need to get you out of here. There’s someone important looking for you…” She mumbled mostly to herself, “Are you alright? You don’t seem to have any major injuries.” She inspected my body.
“Nope…” I said dejectedly
“Good, why don’t we get out of here?” She offered me her hand with a smile trying to make me trust her.
“Who… Who are you…?” I asked taking her hand
“The name’s Jill Valentine.” She cocked her gun, pointing it at another monster, letting out another deafening bang.
.
.
.
“Huh!” I jolted awake from my nightmare to someone shaking my shoulders gently
I rubbed my eyes trying to take away the tiredness from it. The blurriness of the world faded slowly but surely, the classroom I was staying at is class 1-A’s homeroom. Well I mean my classroom, I’ve joined this class since the beginning of the year and I’ve made good friends and acquaintances while I’m here. And today’s is exactly 2 months before classes end for us and we’ll graduate to become 2-A students. (We graduate on March 13). The whole school was a bit dark because the lights were switched off since it’s already after school and there’s only a few students left, so that they can save electricity. The only source of light was coming from the dark, gloomy, and cloudy sky. ‘It looks like it’s going to rain soon, shit I forgot my umbrella. Looks like I’m going to get home wet.’ I internally cursed at myself, letting out a groan in annoyance. Turning around to face the person who thankfully woke me up or I might have slept overnight at school.
“You’ve been asleep. Class ended about 2 hours ago, I didn’t want to disturb you since you seem so peaceful sleeping.” Todoroki-kun implored before I could even say anything.
“Thank you, Todo-kun… Why are you still here though?” I gushed embarrassedly, a large blush adorning my face.
“You forgot. You and I were supposed to clean the classroom today.” He blurted out with a slight amusement in his eyes as the realization set in my brain.
I stood up, bowing deeply at him, “Oh God! I’m so sorry Todoroki-kun! I’m really really really sorry! I didn’t mean to fall asleep and let you clean the classroom all by yourself!” He laughed at my distress, making me stop and become dumbfounded, “Did you just laugh?” I quickly straighten my back at that, eyes widen in surprise
‘Me? Making the Todoroki Shoto laugh?! That’s fucking impossible!’ I screamed internally at how adorable his laugh was. I had to bite my lower lip harshly to hide the smile threatening to creep its way onto my face.
“Yeah, I did. Is there a problem?” He asked genuinely confused as to what was wrong with him laughing.
“No, it’s not that… I just- didn’t think you laughed much since you know, I barely even see you smile…” With a flustered smile I spoke quietly, playing with the ends of my hair.
“I don’t, but that doesn’t mean I can’t laugh, can’t I?” He smiled, taking a step towards me, almost closing the distance between our bodies.
“No, it doesn’t.” Giving him a beaming smile, I closed the distance between our bodies.
This tension has been going on for months now. I could tell we’ve both been pinning on each for quite a while now. And finally, it seems like we’re getting somewhere other than just staring at the back of each other’s heads. We started to slowly lean into each other's faces, tilting our heads on the opposite side to meet each other more comfortably. Wrapping both of his arms around my waist to pull me in closer, I could feel his breath hitting my face and I blushed heavily at it, my hands awkwardly placed themselves around his neck, instinctively pulling him closer to me. Only an inch separated the two of us when we both closed our eyes at the same time, the gloomy clouds outside and the dark atmosphere of the classroom, faded into the background.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked bashfully
“Do you need to ask? Of course you can.” I replied just as embarrassed as he was.
With a little push forward, we finally closed the distance between our lips. I felt butterflies erupt in my stomach and I smiled into the kiss, our lips moving in sync to each other, never breaking for a single moment. This was my first ever kiss and it was so fucking perfect! I have never felt this happy in my life! I feel like I’m floating on cloud 9! The grip on my waist tightened as if he feared if he let go he’d break the moment so I followed his actions, tightening my grip around his neck.
We stayed like that for a second more before he swiped his tongue across my lip. Getting what he was hinting at, I obliged at his request and opened my entrance. He quickly shoved his tongue in my mouth and our tongues engaged in a battle for dominance which, of course he won. Before he could continue, heavy rain started pouring from outside the classroom, breaking our moment. We quickly pulled away from each other, a string of saliva connecting from our tongue's embarrassment clearly written into our faces. I had to grab onto the seat for support, my legs feeling weak from the kiss. The both of us breathed in heavily trying to catch our breaths, but it ended up with both of us laughing our asses off.
I caught my breath first, “That… Hah… That felt great!” I giggled
“Yeah…” He agreed, still trying to catch his breath, “You know… Hah… You really confuse me, but I like that about you.” He complimented me, making me embarrassed as I was still not used to his affection.
“Umm… That was my first…” I confessed looking away from him, trying to change the topic.
“Good. That was mine too and I’m glad it was with you.” Luckily he went along, his words laced with honey
“Look Todo-“ He cut me off with a smile
“Shoto, call me Shoto. I think we’re past formalities at this point, don’t you think, (Y/n)?” He smirked at my skittish actions right after he said my first name.
“You’re right of course, Sh-Shoto.”
“Say it again.” He demanded making my eyes go wide with shock.
Nonetheless I granted his command, “Shoto.” He grinned and hugged me, diving his head into the crook of my neck.
“Again!” His muffled voice demanded, making me laugh wholeheartedly
“Shoto~” I said in a sing song voice
We stayed in the comfortable silence for a minute longer, with his head crooning a song into my neck. The moment was once again ruined by the wind, thunder, and lightning roaring and lighting up the dark and gloomy sky. I flinched at the suddenness, immediately grabbing onto the first thing in my grasp, which happened to be Shoto. My grip on him tightened and he merely laughed in amusement from my reaction, making me shiver from his ticklish breath. Diving out from under my neck, he slid both of his hands to rest on my elbows, giving me a comforting smile.
“Seems like the weather doesn’t want us to part or go home yet.” His eyes gave me a suggestive look, “We could always wait out for the rain to start becoming light. You did bring an umbrella, didn't you? They did say in the weather report that there’d be heavy rain.”
“Nope, not this time.” I gave out an ashamed laugh, trying to avoid his eyes.
“That’s fine, it just gives us an excuse to share mine.” He proposed
Rubbing the back of my nape, “That does seem like the perfect excuse, hehe.” I giggled
“Alright then, it’s settled. Oh, how rude of me.” He paused trying to gather his words, “Do you have a curfew? I can walk you home right now if you do, I’ll let you wear my jacket so you don’t get too wet from the wind carrying the rain.” His eyebrows furrowed in concern.
I gushed at his sweet reaction, “I’m glad for you concerning me, but no need to fret over me, Sho. I live on my own so I definitely don’t have a curfew.”
“Oh okay.” He gave me his usual monotone voice but his eyes said it all, “Even so. Are you sure?” He sighed, taking a good look into my eyes.
Giggling, I pressed a gentle kiss onto his scar, “I’m sure.”
He looked astonished for a second after I pulled away. Tears gathered up into his eyes, then slowly they slid down from his face one by one.
Panic struck in me, “Sho! I’m so sorry! Does it hurt?! Are you alright?! Let me see! I think I have a bandaid for injures in my bag, just let me fetch them for a second!” As I was about to pull away and grab the said bandaid, Shoto pulled me back into his arms, landing effectively into his chest.
“No, please don’t go… “ He began in between sniffles, “I’m fine… Just so happy that you still like me even with this big scar on my face…”
The second after I heard his words, I pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss, lasting for a few minutes before we had to part ways for a stupid thing called air.
“I love you, Sho… I really do, it doesn’t matter to me whether or not you have a scar on your face. I fell in love with you for your personality, not your looks. But I’ll… I’ll admit they are a big bonus.” I spoke the truth in between huffs, he was pretty touched by the first part of my speech but ended up laughing inbetween tears at the last part with my stupid joke, pulling me into another passionate kissing session.
“I-I… I love you too, (L/n) (Y/n)… I have for a long time, I was just too scared you wouldn’t feel the same. I care about you so much and I just wanted to let you know that you are the most beautiful girl in the whole world and I know I have struggles expressing my feelings… But I want you to know that I love you and I’ll always care you for and protect you. I love you so much!” He announced to me, making tears pool at my eyes at how sweet he was being, “Will you, (L/n) (Y/n), be my girlfriend?” He questioned with a smile through the tears
“Yes!” I said lunging into his arms once again and peppering kisses all around his face, “You sounded like you were proposing to me…” I whispered into his ear with a smirk, winking at him when I saw his thunderstruck expression.
“I just want to be formal with you.” His bashful expression died and a playful look surfaced, “Besides just wait a few years and I’ll make that statement of your come through.” I stumbled back at his sudden words
“E-Eh~?!” It was my turn to dive into his neck to hide my embarrassment.
Gripping my chin gently with his finger, he lifted my head to face his, “Don’t ever hide your face from me, I love seeing whatever expressions you make.”
“Oh. Oh…” I pulled away to look away from him
He smashed his lips into mine again, “We really kiss a lot don’t we?”
“Shut up and just kiss me.” He whined sheepishly
“I am.” I smirked at his reaction
I gave him another short kiss to the lips and pulled away, wiping away the stray dry tears on his face with my handkerchief. Offering him my waterbottle to rehydrate himself from crying, he took it without hesitation and finished half of the bottle, leaving the other half for me. I drank it and finished keeping my things, while he waited for me patiently. Once I finished keeping my stuff, we made our way towards the entrance of our school with our hands intertwined.
“It’s still raining but not as heavy as before. I’ll walk you home alright?” He said with a content smile
I hummed in reply, “You don’t need to do that to be a gentleman you know. I can walk home by myself perfectly fine.”
“I know, but I want to make sure my girlfriend gets home safe. It eases my mind.” He spoke modestly
“Well if it does, why should I deny you that?” I smiled, giving him a reassuring squeeze.
Being the gentleman he was, he gave me his uniform jacket in fear of me getting wet because of how small his umbrella was since it was only fit for one person. It was a tight squeeze in order to make sure that we didn’t stick out of the umbrella protection. We just laughed it off and he wrapped his arm around my waist protectively, making me stay on the inside of the sidewalk.
“You’re really sweet, Shoto. Thank you!” I said giving him a kiss on the cheek when we arrived at my house, giving him back his jacket that hung over my shoulders.
“You don’t need to thank me, I’m just glad that you got home safe.” He replied as he took back his jacket and ram his fingers through my hair, leaning into me to give me a peck on the lips
“Goodbye Shoto, see you at school on Monday.” I kissed back
“See you then, my love.” He smiled contentedly, leaving me right after that.
‘My love, huh? That’s so adorable!’ I thought, walking into the single bedroom condo, shutting the door behind me and tossing my bag to the floor, right next to my bed. Flopping into the bed lazily, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and scanned through different apps. ‘It’s weird I had that dream before… I haven't had that dream since I was around 10 I think, weird…’ Groaning into the pillow below me, I shifted into a different and more comfortable position on the bed.
And that was how my relationship with Shoto began…

heyyy could i get hcs about itachi appearance in general pls, like body shape, face shape, hair, eyes, what does he smell like... (assuming he's healthy n happy like in an au bc bro, man deserves some happiness)
i will never not hc itachi as being less than happy. that's it. the canon plot simply did not happen. itachi is living happily and content with his faves sasuke and shisui and of course, us 😉💕
🍡 in terms of the general appearance like height, hair colour, eye colour, and so on, it'll stay the same as canon, which are 178 cm (5'10"), onyx eyes, and jet-black hair, and of course, those famous natural lines on his face that is his signature look
🍡 like all uchihas, itachi has captivating eyes with long lashes and a double eyelid. seriously, at this point, evolution made it so that most (if not all) uchihas are attractive, and they're famous for their beautiful eyes - of which are their most defining features
🍡 he wears those round harry potter style glasses with thin frames, and he usually uses them when working or reading or while at home
🍡 when he goes out, like with the boys (hi shisui, sasuke, kisame, kakashi) or on a date (hello y/n), he wears clear contacts
🍡 LIPS, itachi's lips are a bit on the thinner side, but he has a well-formed bow on his upper lip
🍡 okay, it's canon that itachi has a dry sense of humour and can be funny; he'll smirk more than smile though, and when he smiles, it's always those small close-lipped ones
🍡 unless of course, you catch him off guard with very funny stuff then he’ll give you a big smile with some teeth, and throw in a chuckle here and there *sigh pie*
🍡 he has a heart-shaped face and quite fair skin, so when he’s blushing, you’ll definitely see his cheeks turning pink (SO CUTE)
🍡 his hair is long - like upper mid-back - and he always ties it up in a low ponytail when going out. when training, i see him tying it to a high ponytail (oooh i need to draw this at one point). at home though, it's either in a man-bun or he just wears it down.
🍡 sometimes, he does the loose fishtail braid when he's in that artistic / poetic mood. he also wears a headband (or is it called hairband?) though seldom, just to keep the bangs away when he's in a hurry for some deep concentration (also, can i just say that i have a guy friend who wears a headband at times, and he looks amazing!!! 🤤 i low key had a crush on him before 🤦🏻♀️)
🍡 he also has shiny and soft hair (like pls share with me your hair care secrets), and please, just run your hands through his hair when you're cuddling or or snuggling in bed, because that relaxes him
🍡 his hair is important to him though and he takes really good care of it, so you're definitely special if he allows you to play with his hair like tying little braids or trying out cool hairstyles (looking at that legolas hair 👀)
🍡 itachi's fit, but he's not overly muscly nor have that super defined 6-pack abs. i hc his body shape to be similar to tom hiddleston in the high rise movie (where he's standing up and covering his pp with a white towel; go google it please i almost had a nosebleed)
🍡 seriously i want to lick his shoulders and his arms 🙊 i meant itachi's okay
🍡 also, please bear in mind that this is my hc when he's a healthy boii, and even if he isn't, he still exercises to keep fit
🍡 as for clothes, itachi is REALLY well-dressed (i mean what can you expect from an uchiha), though he prefers clothes with darker colours
🍡 his style ranges between plain t-shirts (his fave shirt is the one with the v-neck mesh by the chest, the one that you see him wearing behind his akatsuki cloak in canon timeline) cause they are comfy af, those fit sleeveless turtleneck shirts and sweatpants when exercising (similar to the navy blue one kakashi wears when he's at home / hospital, but without the mask part), the classic sweater and chinos combination for casual wear, and button-up shirts and blazers especially when going for work or formal events (i saw this really good fan art of him wearing a purple button up with black blazer, and gosh, my ovaries just exploded)
🍡 tbh, itachi has a simple and classic style
🍡 oh, and he LOVES folding / scrunching his sleeves up his arms (like those 3/4 sleeves, where you just drool because it teases a look of his wonderful forearms)
🍡 they say that good shoes takes you to good places, and itachi only wears comfortable shoes. he usually wears loafers or those slip-on sneakers and minimalist sneakers for casual outings, sometimes runners shoes but he usually wears that when exercising, and a good pair of Oxford shoes for formal / business events
🍡 of fudge! i just realised that you meant au as in an alternative universe, but not necessarily modern au. in that case, his fashion is definitely those uchiha clothes that his clan wears all the time. with the scoop neck and clan insignia at the back and all. and ninja sandals, of course
🍡 he's definitely not as flamboyant as our baby boii sasuke, what with baring his titties out with that plunge neck shirt. but itachi can be a tease when he wears his favourite shirt with that small v-neck mesh as i mentioned previously. and he has that shirt in both short sleeves and long sleeves (where he scrunches the sleeves up his arms 😏)
🍡 and yukata or men's kimono during festivals or formal clan events; usually in a navy blue or dark colour with intricate yet elegant designs (for instance, Japanese myths for motifs like Amaterasu or even Izanami and Izanagi stitched on) aka it's expensive
🍡 he accessorises by wearing that necklace of his (the one with the three rings thingo) and it looks extra good cause he has nice prominent clavicles (collarbones)
🍡 when you look at itachi, you see neatness and you know he definitely smells good *hearts emoji* he has that earthy / woodsy smell that you get in the mornings where the sun is just about to rise and the place is all dewy (he takes early morning walks to take in the peacefulness before the day starts), books (this boy loves to read), and sweets like pastries and desserts (let's face it, his hobby is cafe hopping, especially traditional Japanese cafes) and the tea of the day; he seldom uses cologne
🍡 oh and his hair definitely smells gooooooood, and you know it cause he invests in good hair products. like one of his favourite scents for shampoo is the rain forest smell (i don't know if it's the same for all their other hotels, but shangri-la dubai's shampoo and conditioner have that scent and it smells so good and relaxing)
🍡 he smells good basically and i want to hug him please
🍡 i don't know why i'm even mentioning this but he’s got long elegant fingers (flashbacks to Fuji Shusuke and his obsession with pretty hands, whatever that looks like I guess) and he has clean and cut nails (though he did have that phase where he wore dark nail polish)
🍡 itachi’s got that silent confident type of aura, like you know he knows and is knowledgeable about things. imagine him, shisui, and sasuke (basically the dream trio) walking together though; the aura is just head turning and electric
🍡 itachi seems really intimidating at first, but when you get to know him, he’s actually really nice just quiet
🍡 of course, it’s more different when you’re actually friends because he actually talks and shares stuff with you, and you get to have interesting conversations ranging from deep discussions about life or just sharing interests or everyday happenings, etc. it may not seem like it, but itachi is a pretty good conversationalist, i mean, what else can you expect from a gemini (yay for gemini babies ♊️)
#uchiha itachi#naruto imagines#itachi uchiha headcanons#okay it's like technically my first time doing this#i hope you like it#and that i did happy itachi justice#my little writings

Fortune Favors the Bold
This Secret Santa is so sorry for her tardiness. A combination of travelling, panic over bush fires, and all three children getting a vomiting virus the day before Christmas Eve put a real dampner on my efforts to get this fic finished. It had been almost finished for weeks, but I just couldn’t get the ending right. I’m still not entirely happy with it, but I think you’ve waited long enough @redflamesofpassion
I hope you enjoy it, and Happy Holidays!
Kagome climbed out of the well, her cold fingers making the simple task feel impossible as she grasped the vines to pull herself up over the wooden surround. The cold blustery weather she’d just left behind in modern Tokyo seemed to have followed her to the past. Or had she followed it? Whatever. Her life was confusing enough without trying to compare weather patterns in the same place five hundred years apart.
She blew on her chilled fingers as she hurried towards the village, tucking them into her armpits to warm them. She’d jumped through the well in a hurry, anxious to get back, and had accidentally left her jacket on the kitchen table. The chill wind felt like it was leaching heat from her body, and her long sleeved white cotton serafuku shirt and green skirt was doing little to keep her warm. It would be good to sit around the glow of the fire in Kaede’s small home; she hoped everyone had stayed safe while she had been away catching up with schoolwork.
At least the weight of the overfilled yellow bag was keeping her back warm. She’d packed lots of extra food that Inuyasha liked as a peace offering, and Mama had made treats for everyone. They didn’t really celebrate Christmas, but Mama had decorated little gingerbread man cookies for her friends, even making one with a fox tail for Shippou and another with tiny pointed dog ears for Inuyasha. They were sitting at the very top of her backpack, wrapped carefully in a knotted cloth so they wouldn’t be crushed.
Kagome looked around, hoping to see a flash of red and white in the bare trees. She’d thought that even if Inuyasha hadn’t been at the well to meet her as he usually was, he might come to find her as she got closer to the village. She was sure he would know she was here in the past – there was no fooling his hanyou sense of smell. That proved it then, he was still angry at her. She was torn between being annoyed that he hadn’t wanted to listen to her explanation, and sad that she’d upset him when she really hadn’t meant to. This time it truly wasn’t her fault!
One of the girls who had been chosen to dance for the blessing of at a winter festive market on the grounds of a neighbouring shrine had twisted her ankle, and her mother had suggested Kagome as a last minute replacement because she was a similar size to fit the costume and already knew the steps. Inuyasha had arrived at the shrine in the afternoon, after her three days of study time as agreed. He’d jumped through her bedroom window only to find her dressed in borrowed miko robes, her usually riotous dark wavy hair tamed into a low ponytail, and her yellow backpack nowhere in sight.
She’d tried to explain but he’d become angry; irrationally so, she’d thought. Her gut twisted at the memory, and she sighed heavily. They’d been getting on so much better recently; yes they still argued, but they were quick little spats about nothing, over in moments. She’d seen Miroku and Sango exchanging pointed looks, and even Shippou had commented on how well they were getting on.
They had gotten into the habit of sitting closer together near the fire in the evenings before bedtime. Close, but not quite close enough. Anyone outside their little group might have mistaken his hesitance for dislike, but she knew him. When she wasn’t looking, or when Inuyasha thought she wasn’t, she could see the way his eyes lingered on her, a softness in his expression that wasn’t there usually. He would allow her to brush his arm casually, or even touch his shoulder when she wanted his attention. He would positively melt when she hugged him, his twitching nose pressed into her shoulder. Those looks and his increasing receptiveness to her touch had given her a glimmer of hope, where once she’d pushed all her tender thoughts and feelings for Inuyasha aside, because let’s face it, she thought wryly, kicking a stone with some force, his heart was already spoken for, no matter how she felt about it.
They hadn’t seen Kikyou for some time. She could tell Inuyasha felt anxious about that; Kikyou had a track record of going off and doing things on her own, getting herself hurt in the process. Kagome guessed that when Inuyasha saw her dressed in traditional miko robes earlier this afternoon, he’d been reminded of Kikyou. He’d been so upset… Even Mama’s gentle explanation that Kagome was only doing this as a favour to her and would be delayed a few hours at most had failed to appease him, and he’d departed through the well in a snarling whirlwind of white and red.
A sudden flash and rumble made her jump, and she turned to see ominously dark storm clouds approaching quickly, a shadow of heavy rain below them. She groaned. Could this day get any worse? She’d left her jacket and umbrella behind. She had nothing to keep herself dry. And if her bag got wet, most things inside would be okay, but the cookies Mama had made so carefully, and that Kagome was really looking forward to giving to everyone, would be ruined!
She was midway between the well and the village. She didn’t think she’d be able to make it back to the village before the rain arrived, but she might be able to make it to the Goshinboku; hopefully its wide branches would give her enough shelter to stay mostly dry until the storm passed.
Hugging her backpack to her front to protect it from stray raindrops, but not so tightly that she’d crush the cookies Mama made, she veered off the well trodden path and sprinted towards the tall tree in a direct line, heedless of the sharp twigs scratching her bare legs as she passed. Heavy drops landed on her back, and the rumbling of thunder increased. The downpour began seconds after she’d started running, and within moments Kagome was drenched from head to toe, cold and wet as the rain came down harder and harder, strong wind whipping the water sideways. She hunched her body protectively over her backpack as she ran, finally arriving at the god tree a few minutes later.
It may have only been a few minutes, but by the time she got there, Kagome could barely feel her extremities and was bitterly regretting forgetting her jacket. She dumped the backpack in the driest spot on the ground, and leaned back against the tree, panting after her quick sprint, her teeth chattering in the cold. She tried not to think of her mother’s warnings about standing under tall trees in thunderstorms. This was the Goshinboku, and if it was still there in her time, that meant it had never been struck by lightning, right?
She twisted her long dark hair, heavy with rain, squeezing out as much water with cold numbed fingers as she could, then wrung out the hem of her pleated skirt. Her thin shirt was clinging to her like a second skin, and she couldn’t stop shivering. She felt so cold that if she’d had dry clothes to get changed into, she wouldn’t have hesitated to strip off out in the open, but she had nothing. She reached into her pocket with numb fingers to see if she at least had a handkerchief to dry her face, but found only paper. Oh! She smoothed it out, a blush pinking her cheeks as she read the koi mikuju fortune again.
Dai-kichi! The person you await comes from a distant place. Be bold! It would be good for you to send them a message.
The neighbouring shrine where she’d danced was dedicated to Izanagi and Izanami, and was famous for giving fortunes for love and marriage. She’d decided to take a fortune by lottery with the other dancers after they’d finished as a bit of fun, shaking the box to choose a numbered chopstick, and choosing a printed paper fortune from the appropriately numbered wooden drawer.
This was the first time she’d drawn a fortune that had the greatest blessing on it – at best, she usually drew a future blessing, and once before an exam, she’d drawn dai-kyou, great curse. She’d tied that one onto a pine tree on the shrine grounds to leave the bad luck behind as fast as possible, unwilling to take the chance that it might come true, shaking her fingers to flick away any lingering misfortune. But this fortune had given her the best of all possible outcomes for romance. Not that she really believed in these of course, it was just for fun. But still…
She smiled despite her increasing shivers as she traced her fingers over the printed fortune, picturing a dog eared boy with white flowing hair and amber eyes. Inuyasha definitely fit the description of ‘comes from a distant place’ – you couldn’t get more distant than five hundred years into the past. But what sort of message would she want to send him? She closed her eyes, folding her numb fingers gently around the tiny slip of paper.
“Inuyasha”, she said quietly, while the thunder boomed and the rain fell in sheets around her, splashing on the ground nearby. Thankfully, even though the tree had lost most of its leaves before winter, the thick lattice of overlapping branches above her was protecting her from most of the rain.
She let her mind wander, trying to think warm thoughts as if they could help ease her shivers and chattering teeth. It felt good to think about him here, in this place where they first met. Be bold, the fortune had said. She wished she could touch him like she wanted to, increase those small moments of intimacy they currently shared to those of a lover. To be able to kiss him like she did in her dreams, and never let him go. She imagined he was standing in front of her, and gathered her thoughts, trying to think what she would say in an ideal world, where he was free to return her feelings.
Kagome’s voice was soft but clear. “Inuyasha, I wish I could tell you out loud how I really feel. I know that you’ve promised yourself to Kikyou; you’ve cared for her for a long time. She comes first in your affections and you made a promise to her; your honour is important to you. I understand. But…”, she took a deep breath in, then blew out a quavering sigh, “I wish things could be different. I said I wanted to stay by your side, and that hasn’t changed. I want to stay with you forever, not just as a friend, but as… as a wife. To truly be your partner in all things. I wish that you wanted to stay by my side too.”
The sudden thud in front of her made her squeak in surprise, and if she wasn’t already leaning against the trunk of the tree, she would have fallen. Her eyes flew open, only to see the scowling face of Inuyasha close to hers.
“Idiot!” he grumbled. “What are you doing just standing there drippin’ in a fucking rainstorm when you should be gettin’ dry!”
He’d heard what she said. He’d been moping in the Goshinboku when he saw her running towards the tree to avoid the sudden storm, ready to jump down to help her if she tripped, because if there was something to trip over, Kagome would do it. Hell, she sometimes tripped when there was nothing there. He’d winced as he’d seen the scratches on her legs, the small amount of blood washed away by the heavy rain, but he hadn’t planned on jumping down when she’d made it to the tree. He was still mulling over the sight of Kagome in those miko robes, unable to get his thoughts in order.
But then she’d spoken, just loud enough for him to hear her over the storm. His heart was beating faster now after hearing her heartfelt words, and his own heart felt full to overflowing, but he had absolutely no idea what to do about it.
He’d felt drawn to Kagome since the moment they met, right here in front of this tree over a year ago; not in ideal circumstances it was true, but now he couldn’t remember a time when he hadn’t wanted her to be part of his life. He didn’t want to remember. She inspired him to be better without even trying. He wanted to protect her, everything about her. His Kagome was headstrong and determined, with a temper to match, but she also caring and generous to a fault, and had a bad habit of wearing her heart on her sleeve for all to see. She could be easily hurt, and he knew that a lot of the time, that was his fault. She was inherently good, and he was coming to recognise, beautiful, both inside and out. The way she affected him seemed to come from her very soul.
He’d known that his feelings toward Kagome had been changing, but it was so gradual that he didn’t recognise them at first. It felt natural for them to be close together, and it was only when she was apart from him that he realised how much he needed her. Her laugh, her smile, her touch, her scent, the soft curves of her body as she pushed herself against his side as they sat by the fire. It was getting harder to ignore the instincts in the back of his mind that wanted him to take her, make her his, so that she could never leave. But what did Kagome want? Could she really want to bind herself to a hanyou? What she’d said just now – it seemed the answer was yes. But did he dare ask her? Act on his instincts?
Inuyasha’s cheeks heated at that thought, and he hid his consternation by dropping to a crouch next to Kagome’s bag and sorting haphazardly through her backpack, looking for something to dry her with. He ignored Kagome’s sudden shriek as she pounced to save the cookies, putting the cloth wrapped package safely out of his reach. He pulled out the old towel she usually used when they stopped to bathe, dropping it over her head and briskly drying as much of her as he could, concentrating mainly on her hair and face, her body still shivering violently, while she protested his rough treatment. All the negative thoughts were coming back now that she was here in front of him, and he did his best to push them away.
“Where’s your other clothes?” he asked, dropping the now damp towel on the ground, and flicking his gaze away from her. “You need to get dry or you’re gonna get sick.”
“I didn’t bring anything else”, she whispered, not meeting his eyes. “I wanted to bring extra things for you to make it up to you, and because I was in a rush I forgot.” Tentatively, her hand reached out, the slim delicate fingers brushing against his sleeve. “Inuyasha, I’m sorry I made you angry. I guess seeing me in the miko outfit wasn’t what you expected.”
An irritated grumbling sound left him. The scent of her sorrow was making him feel awkward and guilty. He knew he’d overreacted, but the hurt he’d felt at the time had been visceral, and no amount of explanation had soothed him. He was also worried by the blue tint to her lips and her pale skin. He needed to take her back to her mother’s house so she could get dry clothing. The rain was beginning to slow now; as soon as it stopped, he’d take her back. The last thing he needed was having to fret about her getting sick, especially with the colder weather approaching. And besides, he needed her to wear something else. Kagome’s white school shirt was soaked completely through, the thin material hugging her every curve. He’d been trying to avert his eyes, but they kept flicking back to her as if they had a mind of their own.
“That wasn’t why I was angry”, he huffed, tucking his hands into his sleeves. “Not exactly anyway.”
Kagome sighed, her eyes still lowered. “It’s okay to be worried about her, Inuyasha. I know we haven’t seen Kikyou for a while, but I’m sure she will be fine. She’s strong and determined, and…”
Inuyasha placed his hand firmly over her mouth. “Just shut up for a minute will ya? I’m tryin’ ta figure out how ta say somethin’.
Kagome’s brows contracted in irritation, her brown eyes narrowing; he could feel those soft lips of hers moving into a pout under his palm, and it made him lose his train of thought entirely, his breath leaving him in a loud huff.
“Just… it weren’t anythin’ to do with Kikyou. I do care about Kikyou, and I don’t want anythin’ bad to happen to her, but I don’t think of her the way I think about you. I never see her when I look at you, okay?” he growled. “Seein’ you dressed like that reminded me that you have a place in the future where I don’t belong! That you have people there who need you too, and you don’t have to come back here at all if you don’t wanna.”
He sighed, twitching his gaze away from hers and lowering his ears at the thought of what he was about to admit. “I just started to think about what it’s gonna be like when this is all over, when we beat Naraku and you’ve got no reason to come through the well anymore.” Kagome’s eyes filled with tears, and he shook his head.
“Don’t cry!” Inuyasha moved his hand away from her mouth to cup her cheek, wiping away a single tear that spilled down her cheek with his thumb. “In your time, you have a home, and a family, and it’s safe there. People respect you Kagome – that’s what I saw when you were in those miko robes. I got nothin’ to offer you. No home, no family.”
His voice became husky as he looked into her wide brown eyes. “I… I heard what ya said just now Kagome.” He made a soothing noise at her startled intake of breath. “If you stayed here with me as a hanyou’s wife, people would scorn you. You stayin’ in the future is the only sensible thing.” His thumb rubbed over her cheek gently as she made a sound of distress. “So why does it hurt so much when I think about that? My chest aches Kagome, when I think of my future without you in it.”
He was quite unprepared for when she launched herself at him, her arms flinging up to go around his neck tightly, the wet fabric cold against the uncovered skin of his neck. “I don’t want to go Inuyasha!” she cried. “I want to be with you! I love you!”
Inuyasha buried his nose in close to her neck, breathing in that scent, his arms wrapping around her waist to pull her tightly against him. No other person’s personal scent affected him like Kagome’s did, and he couldn’t get enough of it.
“I want you to stay Kagome. I can barely last three days with you there away from me, let alone fucking forever”, he said gruffly, sighing against the soft smooth skin of her throat. “I know it would be better for you if you didn’t, but I’m just a selfish bastard. I need you.”
She was racked with another violent fit of shivering, despite her proximity to him, so with a soft brush of his lips against her pale skin, he regretfully pushed her back for a moment. “But you won’t be stayin’ anywhere if ya die because ya catch a chill, stupid. I can’t believe you came without anythin’ warm to wear. You’re meant ta be the smart one. Here.” He undid the ties to his fire rat and shrugged it off, ready to hand it over to her, but her close proximity to him in her wet clothes had him gulping.
She may as well have not been wearing a shirt at all. The rain had made the white cotton transparent where it clung to her, and the scrap of lacy white cloth she wore underneath did nothing to hide the imprint of her nipples against the damp fabric. Inuyasha found himself staring, eyes following the trail of water from her dark hair, down her slim neck and into the green collar of her shirt where it was plastered to her wet skin. The thicker fabric of her green skirt was so heavy with water it was hanging dangerously low on her hips, leaving little to the imagination – he could see more of that white lace fabric peeking out over the top of her waistband. All he wanted was to peel her out of her clothes and taste the droplets of water glistening on her skin.
His eyes moved upwards, connecting with hers, the smoldering heat in his gaze full of want. She glanced down, now aware of why his eyes kept straying downwards, glued to the see-through material, and she squeaked, crossing her arms across her chest in sudden embarrassment.
“I’m sorry”, he said gruffly, averting his eyes and draping his suikan over her head and shoulders, pulling the edges shut. “This should keep you a bit warmer. Although you need to get out of those wet clothes. When the rain stops I’ll take you back through the well and you can have a hot bath and get warm again.”
Kagome smiled at him shyly, then bit her lip, holding the fire rat robe open again. What was that English saying they’d learnt in class recently? Something about being brave to get what you want?
Fortune favours the bold.
Kagome took a deep breath. “Inuyasha, I don’t want you to get cold and wet too. I’m sure we could both fit under here, if we were a little closer.”
“Kagome”, he groaned. “I’m tryin’ ta do the right thing here.”
“So am I”, she whispered. “Please Inuyasha. I feel warm when I’m close to you. Help me stay warm.”
With another groan he sat down, pulling her with him. He leaned his back against the bark of the tree, directly under where he’d been pinned by an arrow so many years ago. Now it was the weight of Kagome sitting in his lap keeping him pinned, and he knew exactly which one he preferred. Kagome squirmed in his lap, getting comfortable, her legs astride his, her hands grasping fistfuls of his kosode. His feet were getting wet from the rain, but he could care less. His lap was full of the girl he wanted to stay beside forever, and that was enough for him.
“C’mere you”, he said, his voice husky, adjusting his suikan around her head and shoulders to keep her warm. “Snuggle in tight if ya don’t want me to look at you.”
“M-maybe I want you to… to look at me, I mean.” He raised a dark eyebrow at her and she grinned mischeviously, despite her blue tinged lips and chattering teeth. “And maybe I wouldn’t mind if you did more than look.” Her cold hands tugged at his fingers near her shoulders and placed them low on her hips, and she smiled encouragingly at him. “You can touch, if you want.”
He couldn’t help the needy rumbling growl that vibrated in his chest. “I do want. Tell me if I do anythin’ you don’t like, okay?”
Kagome nodded, and his fingers traipsed up and down her sides over the wet fabric of her clothing as she gazed at him with wide eyes. She was beautiful, even like this, with wet straggly hair, and chattering teeth. Even looking like a drowned rat didn’t seem to be enough to dampen her light. His thumbs brushed the sides of her breasts, and he watched her expression, waiting for her to tell him to stop, but she only whimpered slightly, her thighs tensing against his, her bottom wiggling enticingly in his lap.
That did it. His fingers grew bolder, moving towards the front of her breasts, drawing small circles over the damp cotton of her shirt, her already hard nipples taut as he tweaked them gently, causing even more goosebumps to ripple across her skin. With a growl, his hands moved swiftly to her behind, pushing her tight against him. He rained soft licks and kisses on her face and neck, coaxing a quiet moan to fall from her lips, before he moved up to capture the sound and plunder the sweetness of her mouth.
At first he kissed her gently, a tender brush of his lips against hers, his mouth soft and pliable and hungry. She tasted of rainwater, and something sweeter. Kagome sighed as she melted against him, angling her head to deepen the kiss, her fingers slipping into his long mane of hair to pull slightly at the nape of his neck. He opened his mouth against hers, needing to taste more of her, their tongues touching tentatively at first, then more passionately as they grew in confidence.
Inuyasha growled, a low and needy rumble into her mouth, the sound bubbling up without warning; an uncontrollable reaction to her closeness. He could feel Kagome smiling against his lips at the sound, and he couldn’t help but match her with a grin of his own, his sharp canine teeth grazing her bottom lip. He pulled her in tighter, deepening the kiss until they were both gasping for air. With reluctance he finally lifted his mouth from hers, cursing his need to breathe, but smirking at her disappointed whine.
He was quick to silence that unhappiness, her sound of upset replaced by heated sighs as he bent his head to claim her neck, grazing her pale skin lightly with his pointed teeth. Her hands found their way around his torso, fingers finding purchase in the rough cloth at his shoulder blades. A cold gust of wind hit them, and Kagome shivered violently, dragging them both out of the moment, her teeth chattering despite the fire rat draped over her shoulders and the warmth of his body heat against her front.
He pressed his nose into her neck, licking the damp skin. “I need to get you back through the well Kagome. You’re gonna get sick.”
Her teeth chattered harder. “I c-could just t-take off my w-wet things”, she said, cuddling in tightly against him.
“Sure, right before you get into a hot bath. I’m takin’ you home.”
He pulled back, taking a moment to just look at her, drinking in the sight of her eyes shining like jewels in the shadow created by his fire rat, her slim body backlit by sudden flashes of lightning. Distant thunder rumbled around them, the previous downpour now a sprinkle, drifting like soft mist.
He watched with amusement as Kagome carefully placed the wrapped cloth parcel in the top of her backpack again, hampered by the hugeness of his suikan and her numb fingers. He moved to help, and she pushed his fingers away. “You’re too rough. Mama worked hard to make these for everyone, and I don’t want them all broken. As soon as I’ve gotten warm again, we’re coming back so I can give them to everyone.”
She finally managed to get her backpack over her shoulders, and he bent down to allow her to climb onto his back, his hands caressing the soft skin of her thighs as he began to sprint back to the well. She cuddled in close to him, enjoying his warmth.
“Of course you’re comin’ back”, he grinned. “And you’d better not take too long in that bath, or I’m comin’ in after you.”
Fortune favours the bold.
She leaned forward to whisper in his ear, her teeth still chattering, but her voice full of promise. “Maybe I want you to.”

Souyo, 29: selcouth 💖
Yu loved living in Inaba. For the first time in his life he felt invigorated and interested in what was going on around him. In the city he had been stifled by the crowd and retreated to what was familiar – books and his studies. But now? Now he had made friends and had people to talk to and different extracurricular activities to try. He had someone waiting for him when he got home and each day was a fresh and exciting adventure. ‘What is a good word for it,’ Yu pondered, cycling back through all the vocabulary words he had studied over the years. Suddenly, he landed upon it. ‘Selcouth,’ he thought with a nod.
“Hey Narukami, did you do the homework?” Yosuke asked, turning around to face him. Out of all of the people Yu had become friends with over the course of the semester, Yosuke was probably the one he was closest to. It was nice finally having a “best” friend.
“I did,” Yu replied, setting his bag down as he seated himself.
“Think you can help a friend out?” Yosuke asked, giving Yu a pleading look. Yu fixed him with a blank stare, and Yosuke’s eyebrow quivered before he let out a dramatic sigh and turned back around. Before he could sulk, however, Yu sat his notebook in front of him, giving Yosuke time to quickly copy down his answers.
“You really shouldn’t encourage his bad habits, Narukami-kun,” Chie said with a huff as she witnessed the exchange.
“Can it, Satonaka,” Yosuke called from where he was furiously scribbling down the answers.
Chie rolled her eyes. “Did you do the homework?” Yukiko asked her, and Chie suddenly fell quiet.
“I may not have done it, but I at least accept my failure,” she finally said, while Yukiko giggled before offering her homework. Yosuke turned to look, and Chie after hesitating for a moment gave into her pride and refused, saying she wouldn’t stoop to Yosuke’s level.
“Yeah, well, you enjoy that grade,” Yosuke replied, before handing Yu back his homework. “Thanks dude,” he said with a grin. Afterward, the bell rang and Mooroka walked into class, looking like he was in a bad mood as per usual and ready to launch into one of his rants. For some reason, Yu felt a hitch in his chest upon seeing him, and he couldn’t help but blink his eyes in confusion. As Mooroka launched into one of his usual tirades, Yu couldn’t shake the odd feeling like he was seeing a ghost. Like…someone else was supposed to be there. But that made no sense, Mooroka had been their teacher all semester.
Yu shook his head before getting himself focused. While he wasn’t too interested in Mooroka’s opinions on the youth of today, the teacher had a tendency to single him out for questions on the lecture ever since he had rubbed him the wrong way on the first day of school, and Yu found it satisfying to answer the question properly and see the look of annoyance on his teacher’s face when he couldn’t lecture him afterward.
After they went through a few periods, the bell finally rang for lunch and Yu pulled out the bento he had made that morning. As he set it on his desk and unwrapped it, Yosuke disappeared as he always did to grab bread and a drink from the vending machine since he never brought his lunch. Chie and Yukiko pulled out their own lunches and moved their desks together so they could chat, while Yu looked down at his abnormally large lunch in confusion. ‘This looks like enough for two people – why did I make so much?’ he wondered.
Yosuke came back in the room with a pork bun and a drink and plopped down backwards in his seat as he ripped open the packaging and took a bite of his bun. “Oh, is that ginger pork? It looks really good,” Yosuke said.
Somehow, Yu felt like he already knew that. As he looked down at his lunch, his brows furrowed. It was almost like…he had meant to make it for Yosuke to share. But they had never done that before, so why…? “You want to try some?” he asked, looking up at Yosuke. He always felt bad seeing his friend eat such meager meals each day; he didn’t know why it had taken him so long to offer up some of his food.
“Uh, really?” Yosuke asked, before quickly looking around. He then leaned forward. “You don’t think that would be…weird?”
“Weird?” Yu asked.
“You know…two guys, sharing a lunch,” Yosuke replied seriously. He took another bite of his bun and grimaced, before looking down at Yu’s food. It certainly looked way more appetizing then vending machine bread. “I guess…a bite can’t hurt.”
Yu handed Yosuke a spare set of chopsticks, and Yosuke dug out a piece of pork before popping it into his mouth. His eyes widened in surprise and before he knew it he had shoveled several more in as well. “Narukami…did you make this?” Yosuke asked in amazement.
“Yes I did,” Yu replied, feeling his heart beat race in anticipation.
“Dude, you can cook too?” Yosuke said with a deep sigh. “You really can do it all, can’t you… None of us other guys even have a chance…”
Yu took another bite of the pork with some rice and considered Yosuke’s words for a moment. “I dunno, you’re pretty spectacular at crashing your bike,” he said, causing Yosuke to punch him on the shoulder before telling him how unfair he was. Yu let out a laugh, which seemed to surprise Yosuke.
“What is it?” Yu asked.
“I think…that’s the first time I’ve really seen you laugh,” Yosuke said in surprise. A small grin formed on his face as he hunched over the back of his chair. “I dunno, it’s kind of a good look on you.”
“…tner.”
“Hm, what was that?” Yu asked in confusion.
“You’re really going to make me repeat that?” Yosuke asked with a blush on his face, and Yu shook his head.
“No, after that. I thought I heard you say something else,” Yu replied.
Yosuke tilted his head. “I didn’t say anything,” he said. Just then, the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and everyone began taking care of their trash and wrapping up their lunch and getting their desks put back into place.
When Yosuke’s back was to him again, Yu heard it again. “Partner.” The voice sounded like Yosuke, but honestly it sounded like it was coming from far away instead of right in front of him. Also, partner wasn’t something Yosuke had ever called him before, although… Yu gripped his chest and felt his breath hitch again. Hearing the term, it felt right. Like he was supposed to be called that. For the rest of class, Yu couldn’t shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. Everything was just like normal, but seemed slightly wrong. For one thing, he began to realize that he remembered sitting in front of Yosuke before instead of behind him. And while he had formed pretty good friendships, especially with Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko, they didn’t feel quite the same. The friendship was there but it felt hollow somehow, like it was meant to be something more.
Yu’s head was swimming as he headed home, foregoing any of his usual after school activities or going to hang out with someone one on one like he usually did. When he arrived home, Nanako waved at him shyly from where she was seated on the floor watching her favorite game show. “Welcome home,” she said, and Yu gave her a small wave back.
“I’m going up to my room for a bit before I come down to make dinner,” he explained, and Nanako nodded before turning back to watch the tv. Another pang hit Yu as he realized, ‘She didn’t call me big bro.’ Yu hurried up the stairs and closed the door, setting his bag down before pacing back and forth. He was getting strange bits and pieces of other memories floating around, and it was starting to make him feel panicked. ‘I feel like I’ve experienced this before,’ he realized. ‘A life that was like a dream…’
Suddenly it hit him. He had experienced this before. During his fight with Izanami. In fact… Yu stopped in his tracks. He wasn’t in his second year anymore. He was a college student living in Tokyo. And it was no wonder his “bonds” felt so hollow – they were incomplete, like if things hadn’t progressed passed his initial few interactions with each friend. Some bonds were completely missing and none were as strong – as warm – as they were in real life. Especially… “Partner!” Yosuke’s voice called, and Yu felt himself collapse onto his knees.
Partner. Yosuke was his partner. Yosuke had saved him once before when he had been trapped in Izanami’s spell, had wanted her false reality so he wouldn’t have to be separated from his friends. Why was this happening again? Why now? “Yu, wake up.” Yosuke’s voice no longer sounded like it was at a distance. In fact, it felt like it was right next to his ear.
“Yosuke,” Yu gasped, before his eyes flew open and he sat up, immediately feeling pain as his forehead rammed into someone’s shoulder. Yu clutched his forehead and winced, while warm, comforting hands were placed on his shoulders, soothing his trembling.
“You were having a nightmare,” Yosuke explained whilepeering down at him. His hair was messyas it always was after he had been to sleep, and his eyes were worried as theytried to look past Yu’s hands to see his forehead. “I’ve been trying to wake you for at leastfifteen minutes.”
Yu let go of his forehead and stared up at Yosuke – hisYosuke, his partner – and suddenly realized that what he had beenfeeling before was all wrong. Thiswas selcouth. This feeling of closeness, this unbreakable bond, that he and Yosuke shared. Yu suddenly felt sick at the idea that thereexisted a reality where they may not have connected, and he clutched Yosuke’sshirt. “Partner…” he begged, and Yosukeswept him into his arms before threading his fingers through Yu’s hair, wetwith sweat.
“It’s ok,” Yosuke said, his steady heartbeat calming Yudown. “Which one was it this time?”
“I…I haven’t had this one before,” Yu admitted. He had many nightmares about theirexperiences in the shadow world and the events of November, but this was thefirst time he had dreamed about Izanagi’s fake reality. He didn’t know how it had ever felt temptingbefore when he knew how much better things could be.
Yosuke pressed his lips on Yu’s forehead, before askingquietly, “Do you wanna talk about it?” and Yu shook his head from where it wasburied against Yosuke’s shoulder.
“Maybe in the morning. Not right now,” he said. “For nowjust…hold me?”
“Of course,” Yosuke replied. He rearranged them so they were lying backdown, Yu nestled in Yosuke’s arms as he continued to soothe him with gentletouches and soft, reassuring words. Finally, after what seemed an eternity, Yu found himself falling backasleep again, safe and secure in his partner’s arms.

P5R liveblog (7/?)
(start of Makoto arc)
Oh, hey, yoshizawa : )
Together umbrella together umbrella I know this is where it's going
Aww, thanks, Morgana! That was really considerate of him
Yeah, I had noticed that the talk around her has been getting more resentful lately. : (
Oh? I'm getting a phone call from the twins?? : D
Does this mean I can fulfill quests around town and WAIT NO EVEN BETTER I CAN NOW HANG OUT WITH THE VELVET TWINS YESSSSS
Omg FEEL THE WONDERS OF THE COSMOS
Awww their blushing sprites. I'm not sure we've actually seen Justine blush before. But they wanted to play with the toy!! And Justine doesn't like pickles!! I'm so pleased.
Ah, so they give me skill cards. Well, whatever. I just want this good content.
IZANAGI???!?!?!?!?!
Yes!!! Hanging out with Kasumi!!!!
Every time she mentions her phone I get nervous. Also, she just said her body doesn't feel like hers anymore, and that...hmm.
You know, with the velvet twins talking about pushing your own limits, and now this, I'm kind of curious if this is going to relate to the wish fulfillment aspects. Like, how the simulation is a stagnation, mentally. Idk
Blergh I don't know how I'm supposed to respond to her yet.
Tumbling? Huh. Wonder if they've changed Futaba's Position Hack then.
Man, her sprite look so young, relatively.
It's kinda nice that we'll probably start using the 3rd floor for more than just the library now.
You know, I had sort of headcanoned the p5 protagonist as having taken some gymnastics before. Not sure yet how to reconcile this with this link. Maybe she's just way more expert at it since she's an Olympic contender and he's just been taking lessons as a hobby.
Oh goddammit I hate when I choose the wrong selection by accident. I didn't mean to be a dick! I was trying to inquire about your well-being and I accidentally pressed X instead of Down
WAIT WHAT DID I MAX OUT YUSUKE'S BATON PASS IN ONE SITTING??!?!?!
AND ANN'S?!?!?!?????!?!
Ah, here we go. Sae's thoughts about my Justice link. Evading police detection, huh? Okay, that's valid. He did pull the strings quite a bit, especially during the school festival (and onward)
Oh, they really don't tell us when the velvet twins are available. That's kind of annoying. Guess I'll just have to keep checking.
Oh, hey, Makoto. Oh, I like how they retranslated this. Feels way more natural than before.
*sigh* just gonna toss out that bit of canon, thank you.
That's a weird position to sleep in. That can't be comfy.
You know, I always felt like Ann's "I feel like I've known you all forever" thing was meant to be a plot thread, but it never panned out. But now with Maruki saying that Ren seems familiar, like "an old friend", I wonder...
Maybe it is just a misfit thing. But maybe it's not. I'm curious.
So ann wants to "punish those corrupt adults and give courage to people in trouble..."
Yusuke's still a bit hard for me to read. He sees this method as civil. He wants to save the victims of the targets. He feels like he was saved himself. Punishment doesn't seem to come into play for him at all, unlike Ann & Ryuji. He mostly talks about self-improvement in relation to his being a Phantom Thief, though. It's very interesting.
Oh now, this is interesting. They're talking about their desire for a strategist. This will help to integrate Makoto more, when she awakens. Instead of her just saying I'm in charge now
THIS IS SUCH A BETTER TRANSLATION HOLY SHIT
"PS, I still believe porridge is the best way to end a hot pot." Yusuke ilu
I love yoshida with my entire soul
Oh WOW this makes way more sense than akechi just being weirdly intense thank you re-localization
Oh, I really thought this Sakai guy was going to be a Mementos request, not an items person
It really is unfair how everyone is asking Makoto to do something about the mafia boss. Like, what the hell? She's in high school? What do they expect her to be able to do about it?
OH, THAT SYMBOL ON MAKOTO'S COLLAR
IT'S A 'B' & A 'J'
THATS ON THE PILLARS OF THE HIGH PRIESTESS CARD IN THE RIDER WAITE TAROT DECK THATS SO COOL
Makoto you're so bad at this please let me talk instead please I just leveled up my charm and everything
"I tried to trick him into saying something, but he dodged all the traps I was laying down." Makoto pls
Ohhhhh my godddddddd I hate walking around the subway system I'm going to flip my shit this map is just a bunch of squares and lines please game I almost quit the first time I played the original p5 bc I couldn't figure out how to get to school please don't make me do this
Oh my GOD sae you're going to talk about the skill cards and not the calling cards or anything for yusuke?
Ah, Shinjuku. Here we go.

Izanagi heard it was his dear son's birthday, and upon summoning him, he gives Motonari a large gilded, golden egg. He smiles, promising it will hatch into something wonderful soon, as long as Motonari takes care of it.
His eyes grow wide as he is given such a gift from his godly adoptive father. He analyzes the golden egg carefully, and hearing that it would hatch into something soon made his eyes glow with interest. He looks up at the god, a small blush on his face as he thanks him, appreciative. This…this meant a lot to him.
#Motonari: Answers.#Izanagi (sengokusumeragi).#Motonari's birthday was actually the 16th.#Only gets to reply now because the week before finals is hell ^_^'.

Souyowrimo day 25
Prompt list here, other completed prompts in this tag.
I’m trying my damndest to finish before the end of the month/year!
Day 25 - Personas
The smell of coffee, toast and eggs was what woke up Yosuke Hanamura on most days, and Sundays were no exception. At first, years ago, he’d felt a little bad that he never seemed to be able to wake up before Souji did, and so by default Souji was always the one cooking breakfast for them. But Souji didn’t mind, and over the years of them living together as friends, then as a little more than friends, then fiancees, and now husbands, Yosuke had just gotten used to it. Souji was a morning person, Yosuke was a night owl. Souji always woke up before he did, and making coffee and breakfast for two was just as easy as making it for one person.
He must have been feeling nostalgic this morning, because those were the thoughts that followed him as he rolled out of bed, folding and tugging the sheets and blankets into place as he blinked the sleep out of his eyes. He got a quick shower and slipped into some casual clothes - just jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, it was Sunday so neither of them had anywhere important that they had to be.
His breakfast was waiting for him at their table as usual, and it was perfect, as usual. The coffee was piping hot with just the right amount of cream and sugar, just how he liked it. The eggs were fried just perfectly too, the whites firm and the yolks runny. The toast was the perfect shade, with butter and jam spread across it. Heaven. He was in heaven. He ate slowly, savoring the taste of the lovingly prepared breakfast as he scrolled through his social media. He finally finished and put his dishes in the dishwasher, noting that it was nearly full. He added soap and started it.
He found Souji out on the balcony, wrapped up in a coat and blanket on the little wicker sofa and curled around his sketchbook. He opened the sliding glass door quietly, and plopped down next to him on the sofa, careful not to jostle him too much.
“What are you doing out here, Partner? It’s cold!” he greeted. Souji smiled, looking up from his work and setting aside the charcoal pencil he’d been sketching with. He leaned over and graced his husband with a quick, affectionate kiss on the lips.
“I like being out here. It’s peaceful,” he said. Yosuke raised an eyebrow.
“If you say so. All the car noises and barking dogs would kill my concentration if I tried to work out here,” he replied.
“You get used to it,” Souji explained. “And I didn’t say quiet, I said peaceful.”
“The cats?” Yosuke asked, and Souji nodded.
“The cats. They like to sit in my lap while I’m drawing. Then they start fighting over my lap because there isn’t enough room for both of them and my sketchbook,” Souji explained, with a little sigh. “And if by some miracle they manage to find a compromise and settle down...they try to attack my pencil. Do you know how many drawings they’ve ruined that way?”
“But they’re cute,” Yosuke pointed out, and Souji laughed.
“They are cute,” he said. Souji reached for his pencil.
“So which one are you working on today?” Yosuke asked, leaning over again to look over Souji’s shoulder. The sketch was still in its early stages, but it was obvious to Yosuke what it was. A round, dark head with two round “ears”, a long flowing scarf, long arms and legs...Souji was sketching Jiraiya. Or attempting to, at least.
“It’s been a while since I’ve seen him, but you recognize him, right?” Souji asked, and Yosuke nodded.
“I thought you said you weren’t going to try to draw any of the ones that aren’t yours?” Yosuke asked, and Souji smiled a little, bashfully.
“W-well, we’re married, and what’s yours is mine, so I figured…” he trailed off, blushing a little. Even after all this time together, Yosuke still found it incredibly cute.
“Did you run out of ones to draw?” Yosuke asked. He shifted so that he was leaning fully against Souji’s side now, chin propped up on his shoulder.
“Not...exactly. I’ve run out of ones I want to draw, at least,” Souji explained. “And I don’t know...I guess I was feeling nostalgic this morning. I was thinking about you and Inaba and everything we went through together. Look, I even redrew Izanagi,” he said, flipping a page back and showing Yosuke a completed, even fully colored drawing of the familiar Persona.
“Must be something in the air,” Yosuke replied, with a smile. “I was feeling nostalgic this morning, too.”
“It’s been a while...we should go visit Inaba soon,” Souji replied, flipping back to his incomplete drawing. “And...I know I’m missing some details on Jiraiya. It’s been a long time, and I can’t exactly look up what your Persona looked like on the internet…”
“Well, you got the scarf right,” Yosuke began. He reached out and pointed at the chest. “He had a big, golden spiky thing on his chest, kind of like a grin. And his arms were longer…”
In the end, even though Yosuke was freezing cold, he stayed out on the balcony with his Partner for a while, watching him work and correcting him when he drew things a little bit off. He helped pick out colors, too, and eventually they were bathed in sunlight, and he was warm and content. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Izanagi blushed in embarrassment from Star's tease while SonicAsura giggled. "I'm ready." He spoke calming himself. "Good luck you two!" SonicAsura shouted.
The sound of wood clashing together could be heard. SonicAsura seemed to be sparing with Izanagi as they each had a bo staff in hand. Despite the large difference in height by 7 ft both of them seemed heavily matched.
Star was in the tower with a sleeping Jotaro, using the tower’s pad to have a view of the mach.
Since this S guy and Izanagi were basically gods, he hoped that they were going to clean up the mess that they were going to cause…
